As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Level 1 Infrastructure Technician to support the backbone of our client environments and grow within a skilled, fast-paced team.
Job Summary
As a Level 1 Infrastructure Technician, you’ll support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client infrastructure including networks, servers, firewalls, and cloud environments. You’ll work under the guidance of senior infrastructure engineers and contribute to the reliability, performance, and security of critical systems. This is an ideal role for someone early in their infrastructure career who’s eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, MSP environment.
Responsibilities:

Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware).

Support basic network infrastructure tasks such as patching, switch/router configuration, and wireless access point deployment.

Monitor infrastructure performance and respond to alerts using RMM and monitoring tools.

Assist in firewall setups and updates (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, etc.).

Perform backups and routine maintenance checks to ensure business continuity.

Respond to and document infrastructure-related support tickets within SLAs.

Work with senior engineers to implement small infrastructure projects (e.g., server migrations, network upgrades).

Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and asset inventories.

Follow change control procedures and assist with planned maintenance windows.
Preferred Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in an IT support or junior infrastructure role.

Basic understanding of Windows Server, virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and networking concepts.

Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and file/print services.

Comfortable working with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
